Spooky woodland walks will be entertaining the kids this half term at Bolton Abbey.
A pumpkin trail will run throughout the half term with low flying witches scattered throughout Strid Wood. Children will be encouraged to smiff out all the hidden pumpkins.
All you have to do to enter is collect a free trail form from the Sandholme Kiosk, the Cavendish Shop or Dusty Bluebells on arrival.
The walk is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs and dogs are welcome on a lead. Normal admission price applies at £6 per vehicle which covers all passengers. The event will run from Saturday October 27- Sunday, November 4, between 10am and 4pm.
Between Monday – Friday, 29th October – 2nd November, daily from 1.30pm – 4.00pm
Fun filled children’s parties with The Wonderful Witch of Wharfedale will also take place at half term (friday Oct 29- Sun November 2). The parties which will run between 1.30pm and 4pm will feature an afternoon of games, music, activities and storytelling.
Tasty tucker for all the little imps includes Bat Sandwiches and Creepy Cupcakes, Spooky Spider Pizzas and Dead Man’s Fingers, Ghoulish Goulash and Devil’s Couldron and much more.
