Crafty way to brighten up the cold winter months at Cockpit Farm

The winter months are slowly closing in but before you settle down on the sofa with that cup of tea and biscuit think about what else you could be doing with your time.

Cockpit Farm Tea Rooms are offering a series of craft classes in the lead up to Christmas.

The workshops cost between £18 and £25 and includes tuition, materials, a cream tea and a £1 donation to St. George’s Crypt Homeless Shelter.
The atmosphere in the Tea Rooms is warm and friendly and the classes are open to anyone with an interest in crafts.
Classes on offer include;
Thursday 1st November   9.30- 12.30hrs- £25
Cup cake decoration- Bonfire Night theme. Take home 6 boxed and decorated cup cakes.
Wednesday 7th November   10.00- 12.30hrs- £20
Felt Christmas Decorations- Cards, tree decorations and brooches. Take home your wares and the patterns to make more!
Thursday 15th November   13.00-16.00hrs – £20
Incredible Jewellery- made from recycled products.
Thursday 22nd November   9.30- 12.30hrs – £18
Card making- for Christmas and special occaisions
Thursday 22nd November  13.00- 15.30hrs – £12
Digital Photography Class- bring warm clothes, digital camera and sd card.
Thursday 29th November   13.00- 15.30hrs – £20
Button Jewellery- make necklaces, bracelets, earrings and brooches. Bring your own buttons if you prefer.
Thursday 6th December   9.30- 12.30hrs – £25
Cup cake decoration- Christmas theme.
Thursday 13th December-  9.30- 12.30hrs -£18
Card making- Make Christmas cards and exploding boxes.
A free knitting group also started up at the Tea Room on Friday 26th October at 11.30am. This will run on a weekly basis and refreshments will be available.
