With such a fabulous line-up of authors coming to this year’s Ilkley Literature Festival, sales of books are set to soar.
But how do you know if the book you are buying is as good as the blurb says it is?
The Pickled Egg has teamed up with book review website www.thebookbag.co.uk to ensure festival goers get the best value for money from their favourite authors.
The Book Bag has a huge international readership – and it’s all run from Ilkley! The site has been publishing reviews of books from every genre for over six years and has a panel of more than a hundred hand-picked reviewers.
Some sixty thousand people call in every month to see what’s new and the site has over 10,000 followers on Twitter. The founders of the site are dedicated to books and want to encourage everyone to read lots more.
